Although I find it hard to believe, this is my 100th journal entry! For me this is a big milestone. I don’t think I’ve ever kept a journal for any extended time. I’m impressed with myself! So I wanted to do something special with this entry to celebrate 100 journal entries. I decided to write 100 facts about myself. Some of them you might know from reading my journal already and many others might be new to you. I must say it’s been an interesting exercise. It’s interesting to sit down with some paper and try to figure out 100 things that define who you are. At first the ideas flowed quickly, but towards the end it became a little more difficult. This list is still not a complete picture of who I am, but perhaps it is a good rough sketch. 1. I am a 36-year-old female. 2. I am married to a wonderful man named Michael. 3. ![]() I’ve got some exciting news!!! Yesterday when I went in to the doctor’s, they not only did a blood test to test my E2, but also did an ultrasound. To our surprise my larger follicle hadn’t grown terribly much (the one on my right side), but the other follicle (on my left side) was already at 20 mm! So they had me trigger ovulation last night with the hCG shot and we go in tomorrow for the IUI! I’m excited and nervous and hopeful and trying to be cautious with my emotions all at the same time. I also had to start doing the Heparin shots this morning. I will continue to give myself 2 shots a day until we know if I’m pregnant or not in two weeks from tomorrow. They are not fun!! They sting like a bad bee sting. My poor tummy is already starting to bruise. But I will do what I need to get pregnant and carry a child to term. So please, if you have a moment, send some positive thoughts my way tomorrow. We go in for the IUI at around 10:45 am!!
Thanks for all the clix you’ve been giving me again lately. Please keep Clix-ing!
