Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002 - 7:28 p.m. - One Lucky and Lazy Lady
I’m sitting in our family room with a lovely, warm roaring fire burning in the fireplace, a warm bellyful of homemade chicken soup and grilled cheese sandwich, complete control of the remote (hubby is upstairs studying), a warm blanket waiting for me to snuggle under on the couch and a good book ready to be opened. Ahhhh, life is good and I’m a spoiled wife! That all said, there isn’t much motivation for me to sit here at the computer and type a long journal entry when that couch and book are calling, so I’m just going to make this a short “hello” and get back to other things. I don’t think you’ll hold it against me. Granted, I should be writing back to all you dear readers who wrote me when we found out our good news (can you believe it has been two week since that fateful morning?), but that will just have to wait for another night when a fire and book aren’t beckoning to me. Still counting down the hours until Friday’s ultrasound…….
