Snow!

First Once again I’m late putting up my responses to the…

”Friday

What cologne or perfume do you wear?I actually don’t usually wear any perfume. My husband doesn’t care for it, so I usually smell like the lotion I use which is usually either Victoria’s Secret Pear Glace or Bath and Body Works Sweat Pea. I used to love L’eau by Laura Ashley though. It was very soft and fresh.

What cologne or perfume do you like best on the opposite sex? I love my husband in this cologne that I think is called Sierra. (I’m too lazy to go upstairs and look to make sure of the name.) But I also love men in Drakar.

What smell can you not stomach? Vomit. If I smell vomit I will retch immediately. This was a big worry of mine when I was teaching. I was so afraid one of my kids would get sick in class and I would throw up right next to them from the smell. I don’t know what we’ll do when we have children. My mom was the same way and my dad always had to clean up after us kids when we would get sick because my mom would puke too! The other smell I just can’t stand, which is a shame since my husband loves it so, is split pea soup! Uggh! My mom makes it for him and he calls it “Green Gold” ‘cause he loves it so much, but I can’t even warm it up for him.

What smell do you like that others might consider weird? Hmmm, that’s a tough one. I kind of like the smell of fresh paint. That’s the only thing that I can think of.

How do you plan to spend your weekend? No big plans this weekend. Michael took another MCP exam this morning and passed, so I’m making one of his favorite dinners (I was making it for him whether or not he passed ‘cause I’m proud of him no matter what) and I invited a friend over who is going through a really hard time right now. We’ll probably make a fire in the fireplace and watch Shrek tonight. For Sunday, we are hoping for snow, so we’ll make it really cozy inside and maybe do some reading with a cup of hot chocolate.

In other news, my RE has upped my dosage of Heparin once again. I’m going to be doing 9,000 units of Heparin twice a day now. I really don’t care as long as things keep going as they should. I am getting some whopper bruises now though and I’ll start bleeding without realizing it (from an injection) site and only discover it after I’ve got a huge spot on my clothes. That’s kind of a pain. I got a huge spot on my brand new white mock-turtleneck that I got for Christmas already. Oh well, as long as we get our little bundle in 9 months, I don’t care. I just hesitate to wear anything very nice out of fear of ruining it.

Hurray!!! It’s snowing!!! I’d best run to the grocery store before people start freaking out about driving in the snow (we’re talking a few inches here, but then this is Seattle). We need some basics like milk and bread. Then I won’t have to go out at all tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday night and a relaxing weekend!
