Today’s entry is just going to be a short one to announce the addition of a weblog to my journaling. I’ve long been coveting a weblog of my own, but didn’t have the space to host it until a very dear friend, Jade, gave me the gift of web hosting for 6 months! On top of that, she designed and set up my weblog for me! I’d like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Jade for the gift of the web hosting as well as all the work she did on my behalf to set up my weblog. As you can see should you decide to check it out, it is still a work in progress. I have added a few links to weblogs I enjoy reading, but still have to add a few more. Also, many of the other links don’t go anywhere yet. At one point I hope to move my journal over to this new site as well. Of course I’m still dealing with a learning curve here, so I hope you will be patient with me! For those of you who may not be familiar with weblogs (aka blogs), they are a type of journal where people post short snippets or links to sites that interest them rather than writing a long journal entry. It’s a great way for me to update with quick bits of news very easily. So watch my weblog for quick little snippets (or in my case Shooting Stars) of information or updates. I’m looking forward to this especially on the days where I’m feeling too tired to write a whole journal entry but want to post any new news. Another nice feature is that you can leave comments! Just click on the words about how many “shooting stars have fallen” and you can write a comment about an entry! Instant feedback, I love it!
